Arrival FAQ

What do I need to do to register in September?

An email confirming what you need to do will be sent to you closer to the time. If you are holding an unconditional place we will contact you in early August, if you are holding a conditional place we will not contact you until you are holding an unconditional place (i.e. when your results have been received and they are checked against your offer conditions).

I am registering in January or April (or another point in the year) - what should I do?

An email confirming what you need to do to register will be sent to you within 14 days of your due start date (or within 7 days of you receiving an unconditional offer if that is later). All students are required to complete the first part of their registration online. If you are holding a conditional offer you will not be able to register until this offer is made unconditional so please send evidence that you have met the conditions of your offer to the admissions office as soon as possible.

What do I need to bring with me to register?

All students must upload a scan of their passport as it is not possible to register without this.

You must complete the online registration task as soon as you have access to do so (as soon as you meet your offer conditions, you should be sent online registration instructions).

You should also upload scans of your original certificates and English language certificates to your MyApplications portal and, if applicable, your sponsorship letter, and documents to complete your Disclosure and Barring Service (DBS), if your course requires one and you have not already completed it.

There will be an in-person part of your registration, where you can collect your ID Card. Further details can be found here:

I need to send my passport to Student Finance / the Home Office / somewhere else - what should I do?

If you need to send your passport somewhere and it cannot wait until after registration you should scan your passport and upload it to your before you send it.
