Summary

Thomas C. Lawton is an award-winning strategic management author, educator, and advisor. He is Professor of Strategic Management (part-time) at Brunel Business School, and he also holds professorial appointments at University College Cork in Ireland and the Tuck School of Business at Dartmouth College in the USA. He is an Associate at the Møller Institute, Churchill College, University of Cambridge. Professor Lawton serves as Editor-in-Chief of Long Range Planning, a leading, AJG 4 ranked, international journal in the field of strategic management. 

Qualifications

Thomas has a PhD in Political Science from the European University Institute in Florence, Italy, an MSc (Econ) from the London School of Economics in the U.K., and a BA (Hons) from University College Cork in Ireland. He is a Fellow of the Chartered Institute of Management and Fellow of the Royal Society for the Arts, Manufactures and Commerce (RSA). He has served as a company director and has 30 years experience as a consultant and advisor on leadership development, strategic growth, and corporate internationalization.
