Summary
In 2024, Patrick joined the Sport, Health, and Exercise Sciences Research department to focus on studying vascular and cardiac adaptations to local heating and exercise in both young and older individuals. His primary interests are in exercise physiology and cardiovascular physiology. Before joining the research department, he worked as a lecturer in the School of Medicine at Universidad Peruana de Ciencias Aplicadas and as the head of the Physiology Lab at Universidad San Ignacio de Loyola in Peru.
Patrick earned his medical degree from Universidad Peruana de Ciencias Aplicadas in Lima, Peru. In addition to his medical degree, he completed an MSc in Sports Nutrition and Kineanthropometry at Universitat de Valencia in Spain and pursued a specialization in Sports Medicine at Universidad El Bosque in Colombia.
