Summary
Mr Nick Droutsas is a graduate of the MA in Game Design (120 credits) at Uppsala University and the BSc (Hons) in Informatics and Computer Engineering (240 credits) at the University of West Attica, who joined the Department of Computer Science at СʪÃÃÊÓƵ London in 2022 as a Doctoral Researcher. His PhD research focuses on exploring Purposeful Game Solutions for the Enjoyable Construction of Linguistic Resources to Improve Web Accessibility.
Alongside his PhD research, Mr Droutsas has also been working as a Lecturer at СʪÃÃÊÓƵ London Pathway College (BPC), where he teaches Interactive Learning Skills and Communication (ILSC), and Information and Communication Technology (ICT) Skills. At the same time, Nick has been working as a Teaching Contributor to undergraduate and postgraduate modules in Computer Science at СʪÃÃÊÓƵ London, and has also served as a Research Assistant to a plurality of research projects including:
- Simul8: An interactive tool for simulating and integrating accessibility support in the design and development pipeline of creative media applications
- Healthy Ageing Practices Serious Games
- Physiological Based Evaluation in Virtual Environments and 360 Video
