Summary
Caroline Rodrigues Silva is a Lecturer in Organization and People at СʪÃÃÊÓƵ. With over a decade of research experience, her work spans critical studies in gender, race, and class, with an emphasis on intersectional and decolonial approaches, all rooted in a strong commitment to social justice. In addition to teaching, Caroline brings extensive experience as a diversity educator, consultant, and speaker. Her background includes consulting for companies to develop racial and gender inclusion programs, along with educational and third-sector projects focused on preventing and addressing gender-based violence. She is the founder of the Nucleus of Amefrican Studies (NEA) and a member of the Decolonial Alliance in Canada, where she collaborates on research in anti-racism and decolonial education.
Qualifications
- Ph.D. in Business Administration at FGV EAESP, specializing in the prevention and confrontation of violence intersected by gender, race, and class.
- Visiting researcher at Copenhagen Business School, focusing on Diversity.
- Master’s in Critical Discourse Analysis with an emphasis on gender issues in organizations from the University of Espírito Santo.
- Bachelor’s degree in Management (public and private sectors) from the Federal University of São João del Rei.
