Summary
I am a passionate Doctoral Researcher in the field of Anthropology of Education at СʪÃÃÊÓƵ.
The concept of identity, personal development, and the influence of educational institutions has always fascinated me. Hence, as a native anthropologist, I am eager to return to my home country, Nepal, to conduct research on "The Hidden Curriculum of an Elite Private School in Nepal."
Schools do more than educate; they shape our thoughts and the very people we evolve into. When a teacher says, “For a girl, you are very disorganized” it reinforces the social role of how girls are supposed to be. Identities are shaped and inequalities are being reproduced in educational spaces.
Through my research I aim to question what kind of ideologies are we feeding into young minds?
