Summary

Background:

Athari Aladwani is a PhD student at СʪÃÃÊÓƵ London. Athari developed a particular interest in Kuwait's recent attempts to counter corruption and conflict of interest law. This inspired her to commence with her PhD with the aim of comparing Kuwait's novel legal framework with that of the United Kingdom in order to discover new paradigms which, if applied, would potentially bolster Kuwait's legislative framework. Her research interest include administrative law, constitutional law as well as public law.

Research Project:

The research project titled 'Pratical Approaches Towards Implementing Anti-Corruption and Conflict of Interest Laws in Kuwait' and is expected to be completed towards the end of 2024 . It is essentially a compartive study which critically examines Kuwait's legislative framework to combat corruption and conflict of interest law with the more developed approach of the United Kingdom.
