Join us on our Undergraduate Open Day, to explore our west London campus and get first-hand experience of what it's like to be a student at Brunel.

What to expect on the day?

 

 

 Collect your Open Day pack

  • We've got a number of registration areas, where you can access our wifi login and collect your Open Day pack. You'll get a free, sustainable cloth bag with your progamme for the day and a map of the campus. 
  • Start off with our Welcome to Brunel talk, where you'll hear about our broader mission and future.

 Find out more about your course

  • When you attend one of our subject talks, you'll get the opportunity to hear from both our academic staff and current students
  • You've got the option to attend a session that works for you; as we have one in the morning and one in the afternoon and there's no need to book
  • Have your questions ready, as you can discuss in more detail at our drop-in subject stands where you'll find both students and staff on hand
  • Don't worry if you miss our subject talks, because you can chat to us at our subject drop-in stands throughout the day

 Explore our campus

  • Campus tours run throughout the day, so you can join at a time that suits you
  • You can get familiar with the teaching and studying facilities; including the library and laboratories
  • Take a look at the choice of accommodation to suit your budget and preference
  • Visit the wide range of places to eat and socialise
  • Get a feel for campus life during your tour and check out the open spaces to relax in
  • Whilst on the tour, ask our student ambassadors anything about life at Brunel!

Placements and careers

  • Hear from our advisers on placement options by attending one of our talks
  • Explore the different types of placements available on the course you're interested in by chatting to our academics
  • You'll also get the opportunity to hear from our current students about their placement experiences
  • Chat to our expert advisers about your future career options and the career support programmes available to you

Visit our drop-in stands for personalised advice on anything outside of your courses

  • Have a chat with our advisers at the drop-in stands
  • Attend our talks on accommodation, admissions, fees, student support and wellbeing
  • Check out our Students' Union, societies and sports stands to find out more about the Brunel community

Plan your travel

Brunel has everything on one campus in Uxbridge, west London and we are well connected to the rest of the UK. Our campus is easily accessible by tube, bus, train or car. Our address is . If you're driving, please use the  postcode on your Sat Nav to find the campus entrance from Kingston Lane for cars. If you need overnight accommodation, we recommend our Lancaster Hotel and Spa on campus.

Free shuttle bus

There's free shuttle bus services running to Brunel's campus from West Drayton Rail station and Hillingdon Tube station throughout the day. Check your programme for further information.

Getting here via bus

Transport for London buses U1, U2, U4 and U7 stop at the University's main entrance - use the and  bus stops.

Getting here by train

The nearest train stations are  (Great Western Railway) and  (Chiltern Railways).

Getting here by tube

The nearest underground stations are:

  •  (Metropolitan and Piccadilly lines)
  •  (Central line)
  •  (Elizabeth line)

Driving to campus and free parking

We are just a short drive from the M25, M4 and M40 motorways. Sat Nav users, please enter the road address (Kingston Lane) and  as the postcode for our main entrance. Once on campus, please follow the signage to our parking locations. Please note that the  is in place in Uxbridge. There is free parking on our Open Day.

 

Travel costs

If the cost of travel will make it difficult for you to attend, get in touch at openday.booking@brunel.ac.uk - we'll be happy to help. For any reimbursement of travel costs, you must meet one or more of our Widening Access criteria. You must also be:

  • a student currently living in the UK, and;
  • travelling from outside the M25
