Resilient Infrastructure Materials and Structures
(
RIMS) research group focuses on low carbon, energy efficient and resilient infrastructure materials and structures, including cementitious, natural fibres (wood) based composites, steel, nanocellulose, and nano technology enhanced super insulation and building components, etc. driving a circular economy approach for sustainable infrastructure. We have a long track record of applied research and research consultancy, working closely with many research councils (e.g. EU, EPSRC and UKRI) and major industrial parties.
