The Digital Economy and Cyber Security Research Group conduct multidisciplinary cross-cutting research across several critical areas in the digital economy funded by EPSRC, InnovateUK, and DECS; namely, Cyber Security, Banking and Fintech, DL, Strong AI, Health and agent-based simulation. Assured AI and computational models are a significant research thrust of DECS. Working in partnership with STFC, WMG and GCHQ, this collaboration has established the Trusted Open Models Institute at the Hartree Centre. DECS has a strong portfolio and track record of funded DE research over the last ten years.
