On Thursday 16 May, the Entrepreneur Hub had the pleasure of attending the Brunel Alumni Awards 2024 to celebrate achievements within the Brunel alumni community and to present our Venture Competition and Freelancer Awards 2024.
We were thrilled to invite 2018 Product Design graduate Anil Puri back to present the Entrepreneur Hub awards this year. Anil has had an impressive entrepreneurial journey to date, sparked by winning the Venture Competition himself back in 2020, which resulted in him taking £5,000 funding home to further develop his business idea Pet Instincts, which has only continued to flourish since.
For the second year in a row, Anil was part of our expert judging panel at the Venture Competition semi-finals and finals, so he had the opportunity to really get to know each entrepreneur and their idea, allowing him to encourage and inspire them on their journeys. Anil will continue to provide support to our finalists in the coming months through one-to-one mentoring, which made it even more special for him to hand out our awards at the Alumni celebration.
