A team of academics from Brunel’s Department of Social and Political Sciences have been awarded the editorship of the flagship journal, .
From January 2019, Professor Justin Fisher will share editorship of the journal with colleagues Dr Katja Sarmiento-Mirwaldt, Dr Steve Pickering and Dr Martin Hansen, whilst Professor Jeff Karp and Dr Daniela Richterova will both be associate editors.
Political Studies Review (PSR), published by Sage and the , offers rigorous high-quality peer reviewed original research across political science and related subjects. PSR publishes four types of contributions – original research articles, review articles, professional sections and commissioned book reviews.
Research from Brunel’s politics department is considered amongst the best in the UK, with 64% rated as World Leading or Internationally Excellent in REF2014.
Professor Justin Fisher, Head of the Department of Social and Political Sciences at Brunel, said: “I’m delighted that the team will have an opportunity next year to really make our mark on Political Studies Review.
