Tips to cope with exam and study stress

СʪÃÃÊÓƵing can be stressful particularly when your book list is as long as your arm. But knowing how to cope up with the stress can be half the battle down. I put together a few tips that help me when I feel stressed:

1. Find a study buddy

СʪÃÃÊÓƵing by yourself can often be difficult. Not in the least, there are many concepts that you may find hard to grasp on your own. Having a friend who studies a similar course can be beneficial to you as you teach each, discuss and motivate one another when you need a little extra push.

2. СʪÃÃÊÓƵ smart

СʪÃÃÊÓƵing smart helps you to learn a large amount of information quickly. Use the various materials and notes at your disposal to make your understanding clear. СʪÃÃÊÓƵing smarter rather than studying hard can make all the difference when striving to learn effectively!

3. Taking practice test under exam conditions without referring to notes

Confidence is good, but good results from multiple practice tests can confirm that you're as knowledgeable as you think you are - or that you need to step up your studying game.

4. Break free from distractions

I bet you don't even realise how much time you spend on Facebook, Instagram or whatever your vice is? When you add it together, it could add up to a considerable amount.

The best way to get out of the downward spiral is to turn off your notification and alert, make your mind set not to use it and this can eliminate distractions.

5. Eat, sleep and exercise well

Pulling ‘all-nighters’, getting small amount of movement into your day, and poor diet can lead to symptoms of anxiety. Our last tip is to have 8-9 hours of sleep, less caffeine and more water with at least ½ hour of exercise per day.
