СʪÃÃÊÓƵing at Brunel and completing my two community work placements has given me a huge boost to my confidence. Both of them showed me how much Occupational Therapy is needed, and also used to help various sections of the community.
My acute placement in Accident and Emergency was like a rollercoaster ride, there were a lot of twists and turns but ultimately it gave me great confidence in my abilities as an Occupational Therapist.
Academically, I’ve really enjoyed the anatomy and physiology aspects of the course and how the relationship from that links to function and ability in a clinical setting.
Before coming to Brunel I was using horticulture as a therapy to help people with learning disabilities and epilepsy. To me, it was a natural progression to my development to go on to study Occupational Therapy here at СʪÃÃÊÓƵ London.
I am really excited about completing my final year now.
