Where do you currently live:

UK

Tell us about your educational and/or career journey since you graduated from Brunel?

I'm working in the R&D department as a Senior Electrical Design Engineer in the abatement system for the semiconductor industry.

What does a typical day at work involve for you?

HazOp study for new machine, design reviews, power calculation and control strategy, CAD drawing, machine structures, and applying international compliances.

What’s been the highlight of your career journey so far?

All is going as I hoped for so far.

How would you say your Brunel experience has helped you to get where you are today?

Brunel gave me an excellent opportunity to develop the knowledge that I needed in my field. It is much appreciated - many special thanks to Dr Mohamed Darwish for his support throughout my journey at Brunel.

Why did you choose to study at Brunel and why would you recommend Brunel to others?

Great program to study, a great a research team and a nice university atmosphere.

What is your best memory of studying here?

The day of my graduation.

If you could give one piece of advice to current Brunel students, what would that be?

Seek the knowledge by asking questions and study hard to the maximum of your limit.

What would be your top tip or key advice for new graduates as they begin their career journey after leaving Brunel?

Be prepared to share your knowledge with others and apply the scientific approach that you learn in real life.
