Tell us about your educational and/or career journey since you graduated from Brunel?

I joined APIIT Law School as a Senior Lecturer and in 2021, I became the Head of Law School. In addition, I have been involved in various visiting lecturer arrangements and have engaged in research works.

What does a typical day at work involve for you?

Managing the Law School, student discipline and welfare, public relations and governance.

What’s been the highlight of your career journey so far?

Becoming the Head of Law School. Becoming a supervisor and an examiner of the PhD program. Having visiting lecturer arrangements.

How would you say your Brunel experience has helped you to get where you are today?

Brunel prepared me to face challenges. I had many opportunities at Brunel to improve my skills, in particular, my public speaking skills.

Why did you choose to study at Brunel and why would you recommend Brunel to others?

Brunel is a very friendly university. Everyone is very kind. Faculty members are well qualified and supportive. There are so many extracurricular activities in addition to academic matters.

What is your best memory of studying here?

The Brunel Law Symposium, which I presented at every year.

If you could give one piece of advice to current Brunel students, what would that be?

Enjoy your time at Brunel. Equip yourself with skills which are freely available at Brunel to improve on.

What would be your top tip or key advice for new graduates as they begin their career journey after leaving Brunel?

Upgrade yourself and don't ever stop your love for learning.
