Career journey

Oluchi is a business restructuring advisor having led 15+ wide scale complex merger/acquisition billion-dollar programs and leads Ernst & Young’s Strategy & Transactions business for APAC, Capital Markets. Oluchi previously built and led Accenture’s business restructuring unit in the UK for Capital Markets and made Partner in just over 10 years since graduating. She is an avid advocate and advisor around innovation, having built products from scratch to help clients, as well as sponsored Accenture’s FinTech accelerator programmes and ‘innovation challenge’ initiatives across Capital Markets UK.

Supporting the community

Oluchi is a vocal advocate, ambassador, blogger, regular panellist for next-generation leadership with a focus on innovation, diversity and inclusive leadership. She is a Board member for Business in the Community (BITC) London, focused on inclusive entrepreneurship, and a member of the London Advisory Committee to the non-profit organisation 'Show Racism the Red Card'.

Oluchi sponsors various Ernst & Young Diversity, Equity and Inclusion initiatives advising the Executive Boards in APAC and Europe. She previously sponsored Accenture’s African and Caribbean Financial Services Community, actively supporting those from diverse backgrounds and encouraging leadership development. She supports this community outside of the workplace and previously was the Business Executive for a Nigerian non-profit organisation “ICSN” for young professionals. She secured annual admission for ICSN members on AMEX’s highly recognised leadership development programme. She is now working with several major banks and professional services firms to create a joint mission and action plan to support, inspire and encourage attraction, retention and development of black professionals in the Financial Services sector.

As part of Fully Bossed, Oluchi produced content for Stanford Graduate Business School on the importance of inclusive leadership. Stanford Graduate Business School (LEAD) expected 2022.

Her work has extended to her continued support for Brunel, supporting current students with communications and supporting the upcoming ASPIRE programme; targeting academic staff and professional services staff, all of whom hold middle management positions with, to differing extents, leadership responsibilities.

Awards

Oluchi is a frequent panellist and speaker with over 50 speaking engagements conducted and featured in over 25 articles. She is a multiple business award winner for next-generation leadership with a focus on innovation, diversity and inclusive leadership with over 10 awards, notably featuring as Management Today’s 35 Women under 35 list for 2019.
