Brunel has helped me immensely in my career path. I have always applied all the qualitative and analytical skills I gained while studying at the University and this has helped me excel.

Tell us about your educational and/or career journey since you graduated from Brunel?

I work for one of the Federal Government financial institutions and I have been doing that for about five years now. Before that, I used to work for another Government institution that was in charge of managing the country’s national identity database. I worked as a Financial Accountant then, and as an Internal Auditor now.

What does a typical day at work involve for you?

I am tasked with the responsibility of providing independent and objective evaluation of the organisation’s financial and operational business activities. I also work to ensure that companies follow proper procedures and function efficiently.

What’s been the highlight of your career journey so far?

Being promoted to mid-level management in the organisation.

Meeting people from all over the world and making friends. Uxbridge is also a very nice place to study.

Make the best use of the opportunity you have because you can never get enough of the University. It’s a once in a life time experience that I miss every day.
