I’m currently studying Mechanical Engineering at СʪÃÃÊÓƵ London. Below I’ve provided insight to why I chose Brunel and my experiences so far.

Second to none graduate and industrial placement opportunities
I chose to study at Brunel because it is an established institution for Engineering, ranked in the top ten in the UK.

One of the biggest reasons the university stood out to me is because it is an engineering university with strong associations and links to a range of companies, locally and worldwide, making the industrial placement and graduate opportunities second to none. It is a name that I had heard of before and a cousin from my family had successfully completed his Master’s at Brunel. It was from this recommendation and the extensive research on facilities and reviews that I chose Brunel.

One of a kind atmosphere
I visited the campus for a Clearing Campus Tour and the warmth, helpfulness and friendliness of the staff and the student ambassadors made me certain that this is where I wanted to be.

The atmosphere here is one of a kind; it really makes you feel welcome and a part of the big Brunel family from day one. I have met some amazing people during my time, and have already formed what I’m certain will be long lasting friendships.

The best parts of work, rest and play
The range of clubs and societies will surprise you – there is something to suit everyone, and I’ve never seen such a wide range at other universities. From anime to skydiving, rugby to tea, the possibilities are endless. Brunel has become a home to me and I am proud to be a Brunelian!
