Coming to the UK and choosing a college/university here in London where everyone wants to get a life one dreams of. It was clear for me when I was in 8th grade that I wanted to go abroad and target especially London for my masters as I was always fascinated by the Bollywood movies and how they pictured it and the amazing college life.
I am currently a Masters student in Marketing here at Brunel and marketing is a subject I am passionate about, where I believe it’s the core of any product or service to be profitable. With my past experiences back in India and some part time job and lessons here in London, I will give a brief on my top 3 plans after graduating this September which might also give the readers some light and direction.
Plan 1- To get a job in top marketing and advertising companies
As mentioned above, I really have a passion for this field and when it comes to professionally going, I believe UK and especially London is a market for my branch. We have companies like Ogilvy, VCCP ,McCann and many more here which I dream of joining. These agencies have a huge market and customers with top brands in the world. Along with these top brands I would also target primary level jobs in similar sector like sales and PR.
Plan 2 - To start a business on my own
Doing a course here in the Business School is giving me skills everyday as well as opportunities to know more and more deeply about the business world and understand how an industry works. UK has a location which is in between Asia and America, which gives it so much advantage in things like trade and resources than other countries. With so much availability of natural resources, I believe I have some plans to invest time and energy in this business.
Plan 3 - Start my own social media journey
The last and the backup plan which I have thought is to start my own digital space in the form of a YouTube channel as it has become a good source of income and more importantly a place where people can discover themselves as well as self-express. Being a person who loves travelling over anything, I have plans of travelling across UK and the neighbouring countries in Europe and some plans of America as well.
So, these are my plans which I am currently focusing on and giving all my time to and I believe these plans might get modified with time as we never know what if we get better opportunities or surprises in life. One last thing I want to add for the readers is to never underestimate your capabilities and stop dreaming because those who dare to dream for sure climb the ladder of success.
